hablando de fantasmas... estoy ocupada entre mil papeles y timbran a la puerta. yo voy, dice mi madre pero ya llegué yo antes. sorpresa. mi sobrino, que vive en otra ciudad del norte que no es la mía, su esposa y mi ex-cuñada están ahí. hace mucho tiempo que no la veo a ella, y se alborota. siempre fue muy efusiva esa pelirroja, desde que la conocí a los 12 años y encantó a mi hermano. luego llegan mi tía y otra amiga de mi madre y ya, se me acabó el día laboral. hay que atender a la visita, hacer café, hablar boberías varias. mi sobrino, que siempre se pareció más a mí que a sus padres, de adulto se ha convertido en una belleza varonil (!) de ojos tiernos, labios plenos de sonrisa hermosa y un pelo negro que me imagino debe ser la envidia de todo wall street. hablando de y comparando la belleza varonil a partir de mi sobrino, él sonrojado, todo aquel gallinero de viejas se ha alborotado a un nivel que solo un cubano puede entender... yo en medio, observando y admirando a mi sobrino, queriendo verme hace siglos, y porque por lo general no nos vemos mucho.
