a dark, velvety rebel, indeed. all day long on the social networks, one could hear a deep vacuum of sorrow. this IS the end of an era for people in their 50's and over, who grew up listening to the alternative rock music created by Lou Reed, the Velvet Underground, Bowie, Laurie Anderson, TalkingHeads... we are old, and we are starting to die. 'tis a fact... oh what a perfect day to spend it with you...
